Sikh Wedding Photography

The day of my wedding is pre-ordained. Come – let’s gather together and pour the oil over the threshold
Sri Guru Granth Sahib | Raag Gauree

Anand Karaj ‘blissful Union’ was first introduced by Guru Amar das following on Guru Ram Das composed the four lavan which is recited and sung with the bride and groom circumambulating the Guru Granth Sahib.

The ceremony serves to provide the foundational principles towards a successful marriage and also places the marriage within the context of unity of God.

As a Sikh wedding photographer capturing deep narrative is highly rewarding. Within these moments I work to capture the sanctity of the union of two individuals and their relative families.

Visual story telling requires emotion in context, being unobtrusive and having the patience to pick out key moments which form a great story.

Many of my clients who inquire about Sikh wedding photography go through a consultation in which we discuss their day in detail.

Please feel free to have a look around and drop me an email and I’ll do my best to help.
