Indian Wedding Photography

‘With the first step, we will provide for and support each other.
With the second step, we will develop mental, physical & spiritual strength.
With the third step, we will share the worldly possessions.
With the fourth step, we will acquire knowledge, happiness and peace.
With the fifth step, we will raise strong and virtuous children.
With the sixth step, we will enjoy the fruits of all seasons.
With the seventh step, we will always remain friends and cherish each other’.

Also known as vivah , a vibrant and colourful affair. In the presence of fire, family and friends the priest conducts the marriage in the scared holy language of Sanskrit. There are many parts to the ceremony one of which is taking the seven steps with each step a vow is made to each other.

As an Indian wedding photographer capturing deep narrative amongst the rituals & scared moments is very rewarding. Within these moments I work to capture the mood and atmosphere. Visual story telling requires emotion in context, being unobtrusive having the patience to pick out key moments forming a great story.

Many of my clients who inquire about Indian wedding photography go through a consultation in which we discuss their day in detail.

Please feel free to have a look around and drop me an email and I’ll do my best to help.
